Opus started construction on a 65,000-square-foot build-to-suit facility for Viking Industrial Painting. The facility, located at 9225 N. 108th St. in Rainwood Industrial Park in Omaha, Nebraska, will serve as the 25-year-old company’s new headquarters and operations base.
Viking Industrial Painting specializes in inspecting, painting and maintaining municipal water towers. Their new location in Rainwood Industrial Park will serve as the company’s corporate headquarters, providing back office support functions to their six regional offices located across the country. Opus is the developer and design-builder on the project, which is expected to wrap up in July 2027.
Opus has completed several significant industrial projects in the greater Omaha and Council Bluffs, Iowa, area, including speculative developments Highway 370 Logistics and River Road Logistics and build-to-suits for Omaha Box Company, The Gavilon Group and CSG Systems International.
