The Opus Group recently completed construction on The Loden, a four-story, 246-unit multifamily development in Edina, Minnesota.
The site has undergone a transformation from a vacant office building into a high-end residential offering near retail, employers and nearby access to outdoor trails.
Located between Highway 169 and Highway 100, the redevelopment is adjacent to the regional trail system developed by Three River Parks District, as well as local employers like the neighboring Children’s Hospital campus which remained open throughout the construction process.
The apartment building features include an amenity building adjacent to an expansive outdoor pool deck and hot tub, work-from-home space, fitness center, yoga studio, dog wash and outdoor dog walk, bike storage and heated underground parking. From alcoves to two-bedrooms with dens, all units include top-of-the-line finishes with quartz countertops and Whirlpool stainless-steel appliances. Floor plans range from 498 square feet to 1,322 square feet with various layouts to meet the needs of modern residents.
The project is a collaboration between Opus and Founders Properties, L.L.C. Opus Development Company, L.L.C. was the developer, Opus Design Build, L.L.C. was the design-builder and Opus AE Group, L.L.C. was the interior designer, architect and structural engineer of record. The Excelsior Group was engaged for branding, marketing and is currently operating and leasing the project.
