Adam Karras, senior associate with Chicago-based Paine/Wetzel/TCN Worldwide, recently completed the lease of an 11,500-square-foot industrial building in East Chicago, Ind.

Majac Steel is expanding its operations and chose this building because of its proximity to the company’s current facility. Features of the 18-foot clear-height building include one drive-in door and ample trailer parking.

Majac specializes in plate shearing and light gauge steel frame fabrication. The company has framed many structures including restaurants, office complexes, storage facilities and an auto dealership. Since 1995, Majac has sheared more than 175,000 tons of steel.
