Decorative Container Inc. has purchased a 38,000-square-foot building located at 6935-39 W. 62nd St. in Chicago. Whit Heitman, principal, Sam Badger, senior vice president and Brad Weiner, vice president of Paine/Wetzel/TCN Worldwide represented the buyer in the transaction. Jeffrey Locascio worked on behalf of the seller, Newmark Knight Frank.
Turner Acceptance Corp has leased 40,816 square feet at 4900 Howard in Skokie. Due to the expansion of the company, it has signed a long term lease and is relocating from a smaller facility in Evanston, IL. Heitman, Badger and Weiner represented the landlord, Walker Partners, LLC. Baum Reality represented the tenant.
POWERVAR Inc. has leased 32,000 square feet of additional space at 1605 Waukegan Road in Waukegan. Heitman, Badger and Weiner represented the building owner, Prudential, in the transaction.
