Paine/Wetzel/TCN Worldwide has completed two industrial lease transactions in Chicago.
Anthony Marano Co. is expanding and has leased 4.34 acres adjacent to its current location at I-55 and Damen in Chicago for additional parking space. The company opened in 1949 and became one of the largest Midwest tomato distributors. Today, the company distributes a complete line of fresh produce from its state-of-the-art 350,000-square-foot facility. Patrick’s Gourmet Cookies has leased 3,500 square feet of space at 1900 N. Austin Boulevard in Chicago to relocate its operations from 4501 W. Madison in Chicago. The local cookie maker chose the facility primarily due to the proximity of the expressway. The leased space is a fully equipped bakery and is within a building that features docks, drive-in doors and parking for employees. Albert Schulman, senior vice president, CCIM of Paine/Wetzel/TCN Worldwide represented both the tenant and landlord, The 1900 Austin Building LLC, in the transaction.
