Jeff Girling and Terry Lynch, of Paine/Wetzel TCN Worldwide, along with Cushman & Wakefield’s Brad Weiner, represented Kehoe Designs in a new strategic long-term lease that will consolidate its four facilities into one large warehouse/office space on Chicago’s near south side. Cushman & Wakefield’s Larry Goldwasser and Colin Green represented the landlord, Mack Packaging.
Kehoe Designs leased the entire 234,500 square foot facility at 2555 S. Leavitt St. in Chicago, moving inventory, manufacturing and employees from four facilities including their main location at 2108 W. Walnut St. in Chicago. The company selected the property because of its access to the expressway, 19,400 square feet of existing office space and 22-foot ceiling clear heights. The building was built in the 1960s with an addition completed in 1998 to house a manufacturing operation, but Kehoe plans to renovate the building into a new production facility, showroom space and office headquarters for its growing business.
Kehoe Designs is a full-service event décor and design company that provides floral services, rental furniture, art and landscaping for weddings, corporate events, exhibits and galas. The new location will give them quick access to downtown Chicago.
