Paine/Wetzel/TCN Worldwide has completed one sale and two lease industrial transactions in Chicago and Bedford Park.
Martinez Trucking has purchased a 10,955-square-foot industrial building at 830 E. 114th St. in Chicago for the expansion and relocation of the company. The new building, situated on two acres, is a former emission testing facility and features 10 drive-in doors with immediate access and visibility from I-94. Terry Lynch and Jeffrey Girling of Paine/Wetzel/TCN Worldwide represented the buyer. Dan Leahy and Adam Roth of NAI Hiffman worked on behalf of the seller, Envirotest.
Enterprise Rent-A-Car has signed a 15-year lease for a 38,233-square-foot building on 5.5 acres at 6600 S. Central Ave. in Bedford Park. The company is consolidating its area facilities and chose the property due to its excellent location near Chicago’s Midway Airport and available land for parking. Lynch and Girling represented the tenant in the transaction. Vern Schultz and John Basile of Colliers International worked on behalf of the building owner, IKO Chicago.
La Colmenita Mexican Products Inc. has leased 5,000 square feet of space within a 30,000-square-foot industrial building located at 4401 W. Cermak in Chicago. The company is expanding its business operations. Lynch and Girling worked on behalf of the landlord, 4401 W. Cermak LLC, in the transaction and the tenant was not represented.
