Interior design firm Paradigm Design Group has unveiled a full redesign of the Kansas City Airport Marriott.
Playing off the existing bones of the building and highlighting Kansas City’s love for mid-century design, ceilings were raised, walls were removed, windows were added and the main stairwell was opened to allow guests to see from the hotel’s main entrance all the way through the building and to the lake beyond it.
Paradigm incorporated pops of bright blue color throughout the hotel, paying homage to the city’s favorite sports team, the Kansas City Royals.
