Hillary Bean Schumaker, a partner in Armstrong Teasdale’s St. Louis law office, has been named director of the firm’s Professional Advancement of Women Program.
The program, which was founded in 1998, was one of the first of its kind in St. Louis and has served as a model for other area law firms. The program works to promote and support the advancement and inclusion of women in the workplace, in the profession and in the community.
“Hillary’s enthusiasm, creativity and foresight will be a great asset to PAW,” said Michael Chivell, managing partner with Armstrong Teasdale. “In addition to being an excellent attorney, Hillary is well-respected throughout the firm for her leadership abilities and willingness to assist other lawyers.”
