St. Paul, Minn.-based Paster Properties will soon begin overseeing major interior and exterior renovations at the Northway Center, a 92,197-square-foot retail center in Lexington, Minn. The renovations are scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2015.
“Northway Center has been a cornerstone of the Lexington community since it was built in 1955,” said Howard Paster, president of Paster Properties, in a written statement. “Paster Properties recognizes that the community has been growing and evolving, and feels that now is the perfect time to refresh the center so that it continues exceeding community needs.”
The exterior of the building will receive an upgraded look, including new stucco signbands and architectural shingles. A portion of the building will be removed and replaced with a roadway accessing the land parcel behind the center, as well as a patio for the recently opened El Loro Mexican Grill and Cantina. New sidewalks and landscaped islands will also be added to the parking areas to increase walkability and green space.
Festival Foods will receive new fixtures, cash registers, flooring, skylights and an upgraded entry and exit.
