Paul Kerber Vice President, Investments Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Services Detroit

Paul Kerber’s numbers tell just how successful he’s been in the world of commercial real estate. During his career of more than 25 years, Kerber has closed investment transactions in 32 states. And these transactions have totaled $1 billion in total asset value.

This kind of success explains why Kerber is considered such a valuable member of Marcus & Millichap Real Estate Investment Service’s Detroit office. He serves this office as vice president of investments. And his reach extends far beyond this Midwest city.

Keber has sold investment properties to investors from not only the United States, but to those from Canada, Russia, Switzerland, Israel, Germany and the Ukraine. And he’s mentored young agents while doing this, helping these new professionals learn how to best succeed in the competitive world of investment commercial real estate.

These big numbers don’t happen by accident. Kerber is known by his peers for his industry knowledge, negotiating skill and ability to close even the most complicated of deals. His clients are fiercely loyal to him, something that explains his ability to thrive in the commercial real estate business for a quarter of a century.

Officials at Marcus & Millichap have taken note of Kerber’s talents. Thanks to his skill and passion for real estate, Kerber has moved quickly up the career ladder at the company. He first joined Marcus & Millichap in 1998, and was named an associate just a year later. In 2001 he earned the title of senior associate. Three years later, he became a senior investment associate before earning his promotion to vice president of investments in 2008.

During his time with Marcus & Millichap, Kerber has earned six national achievement awards and 10 sales recognition awards.

He is also a senior director of the National Office & Industrial Properties Group at Marcus & Millichap and a director in the company’s National Retail Group. Outside analysts, too, have recognized Kerber’s skill; he has earned several CoStar Power Broker recognitions.
