Paul Plattner Senior vice president Colliers International Cincinnati

Above and beyond. That’s how peers describe the service that Paul Plattner, a senior vice president with the Cincinnati office of Colliers International, provides to his clients.

Plattner’s fellow commercial pros refer to him, too, as a role model for other real estate brokers.

Plattner has earned such high praise. He’s worked in the commercial real estate industry since 1980, amassing more than three decades of experience in this competitive business. And he’s thrived in the field, compiling a client list filled with big names and life-long customers.

Today, Plattner oversees the management of more than 10 million square feet of commercial real estate as the leader of the Real Estate Management Services division of Colliers International’s Cincinnati office. This portfolio includes industrial, office and retail properties.

This portfolio of properties didn’t grow so large by accident. Plattner has worked long hours to develop the business relationships that are critical to a successful property-management division. Plattner has earned his clients’ loyalty through his hard work, market knowledge and strong ethics.

During his career, Plattner has served a host of big-name organizations. The list includes New York Life, the city of Cincinnati, Macy’s, GE Capital, Duke Realty Corporation, Invesco and the State Teachers Retirement System of Ohio.

It should come as little surprise, then, that Plattner has earned some of the industry’s highest honors during his career. In 1986, he was named the manager of the year of the Cincinnati chapter of IREM. He has also served as president of this chapter and was named to the board of governors of the Ohio BOMA, a post he earned thanks to his in-depth knowledge of the commercial real estate business.

Plattner also received the Colliers International Circle of Excellence Award in recognition of his community involvement, customer service and business-building skills.
