Colliers International | Chicago’s Tony Karmin represented PayLink Direct in a 12,808-square-foot, long-term lease at 222 S. Riverside Plaza in Chicago. Kim Doyle of JLL represented the building landlord, The John Buck Company.
In 2017, Chicago-based competitors PayLink and Omnisure Group merged under the name PayLink to create the largest service contract payment plan provider in the United States. As a result of the merger, PayLink currently occupies space at two separate locations, 150 N. Wacker Drive and 205 W. Wacker Drive. The offices will consolidate on the 9th floor at 222 S. Riverside Plaza on September 1st, 2019.
“PayLink was attracted to the space because it offered an efficient layout and generous natural light,” said Karmin. “In addition, PayLink was impressed with the state-of-the-art amenities and upgrades at 222 S. Riverside. It will help attract today’s modern workforce.”
Hydzik Schade designed PayLink’s space at 222 S. Riverside, while construction is being completed by Bear Construction. The building is a 40-story, 1-million-square-foot, Class A office tower in Chicago’s West Loop. The building underwent a $40 million renovation to upgrade the lobby and common areas, add a new tenant lounge and modernize elevators.
