Peak Construction Corporation has been awarded the renovation of Senju America Inc.’s solder manufacturing facility in Wheeling, Illinois. The Japanese company, which produces solder powder and paste for the automotive and electronics industries, will move from their current location in Mundelein, Illinois.
Located at 1200 S. Wolf Road, the 21,800-square-foot facility was built in 1995. The renovation includes updates and modifications to the 4,800-square-foot office, cafeteria and showroom and converting 17,000 square feet of warehouse space into a production environment. Peak is teamed with Mitchell Associates Architects. The project is slated for completion in June 2019.
