Peak Construction Corporation has been selected as the design-builder for Riddell‘s new 347,205-square-foot manufacturing and distribution facility in North Ridgeville, Ohio.
The firm joins Avison Young, Scannell Properties, Heitman Architects Incorporated and R.E. Warner & Associates, Inc. in constructing the new build-to-suit facility scheduled for early 2017 completion.
The building will relocate Riddell’s existing operations in Elyria, Ohio, which includes on-field football helmet and custom shoulder pad assemblies as well as transfer production of their full-size collectible football helmets and football gear and apparel distribution from Rantoul, IL.
The new building will provide all North American new helmet and specialty shoulder pad production as well as existing football helmet and shoulder pad reconditioning and certification services. In addition, the facility will feature a fitness center, break and training rooms, additional storage, shipping/receiving access, and ample parking.
