Peak Construction Corporation will complete the tenant improvement project for DHL Global Mail’s new facility in Melrose Park, Ill. Peak Construction is doing the work on behalf of KTR Capital Partners.
the 156,235-square-foot building is located near North and 25th avenues in Melrose Park. Renovations include an office build-out and warehouse modifications. These will pave the way for DHL Global Mail’s next-generation sorting automation and the company’s expected growth during the next several years.
Construction is scheduled to wrap up in July of 2014.
This is not the first time that DHL Global Mail has worked with Peak Construction. In 2004, the company worked with Peak to modify a multi-tenant facility in Des Plaines, Ill., into a single-user mail and package-processing center.
