Peak Properties announced its latest scattered site management assignment, a three-property portfolio in Chicago’s Hyde Park neighborhood. Together, the properties add 57 apartments to Peak’s portfolio.
The buildings, all within walking distance of the University of Chicago’s campus, are across the street from Washington Park and close to several CTA options including bus stops at 51st and 53rd Streets. Residents have a variety of restaurants in the neighborhood to choose from, such as Chemistry for an upscale dinner and live music, and Virtue, one of Chicago’s most popular restaurants. University students can find morning coffee and pastries nearby at Fairgrounds or Café 53.
The building is conveniently located near Trader Joe’s, Target, and Whole Foods, providing residents with several grocery options. The Smart Museum of Art and DuSable Black History Museum and Education Center are also in the neighborhood for residents who may be interested in learning about the city and history in their spare time.
