PeakGiving, Peak Construction Corporation‘s philanthropic arm, completed their inaugural effort last Friday for BraveHearts Therapeutic Riding & Educational Center. With the help of Darwin Realty & Development Corporation, CommCon of Illinois, Scurto Cement Construction Ltd., and All-American Exterior Solutions, approx. 50 employees from all companies contributed to the Build the Shed event. The new, much-needed 20-by-40 shed at BraveHearts’ Harvard facility will allow shelter for up to 15 horses – the charitable organization’s main personnel – during inclement and winter weather.
“We are so grateful for all the past friendships and new friendships forming between Peak, Darwin and BraveHearts. It is an honor to have these companies assist our organization,” said Meggan Hill-McQueeney, President/COO of BraveHearts. “Purely, it was an awesome endeavor. On behalf of everyone who donated and participated, we are proud to partner with BraveHearts and are humbled to contribute to their remarkable work,” stated Michael P. Sullivan, Jr., CEO and Founder of Peak.
