Peoria’s Cullinan Properties names president

Peoria, Illinois-based Cullinan Properties, appointed Michael Gold as president of the company. 

Gold most recently served as the chief operating officer for Pine Tree, a national shopping center owner and operator. There he oversaw a diverse national portfolio and played a pivotal role in shaping long-term strategies and operational directives, contributing significantly to the company’s growth.

Prior to his COO position, Gold held several progressively senior roles within Pine Tree, starting as Vice President of Leasing and subsequently serving as Vice President of Asset Management and Leasing, as well as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.  During his tenure, Gold’s teams oversaw more than 20 million square feet of real estate and $3B+ AUM. He started his real estate career as an Associate at CBRE.

Gold has a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing from Arizona State University and a Master of Business Administration from DePaul University with concentrations in Real Estate Investment Finance and Change Management.  He is a Member of the Advisory Council for Youth Guidance’s BAM Program, Member of the Urban Land Institute, Membership Co-Chair for the Illinois Marketplace of ICSC, and a guest lecturer for the Real Estate Programs at DePaul University and University of Wisconsin-Madison.
