The Pierini Iron Works Building located at 6200 S. Sayre Avenue near Midway Airport in Chicago sold to an unnamed purchaser. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The 35,000-square-foot industrial building sits on approximately two acres of land on Chicago’s South Side, in the Clearing neighborhood. Beverly Hayes and Daniel Vanchieri of SVN Chicago Commercial were the sole brokers in the transaction.
“Third time’s a charm! This was the third time this property was listed in four years. We had an immense amount of interest even though it was listed in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic,” said Hayes, senior industrial advisor. “Everyone who toured the property was impressed with the land site and the overall well-kept condition of the building.”
