Northbrook-based Pine Tree, LLC announced the promotion of Conor Bossy to senior vice president of acquisitions. This key promotion reflects the company’s commitment toward building and maintaining a strong, innovative and dynamic team as it continues to expand its portfolio of shopping centers around the country. Bossy is based in Pine Tree’s Northbrook, Illinois office.
As senior vice president of acquisitions, Bossy is responsible for sourcing and negotiating new potential acquisitions to be added to Pine Tree’s retail portfolio, which currently exceeds $700 million.
“Conor’s promotion is a direct result of the significant contributions he has made to Pine Tree over the course of his four years with the company,” said Peter Borzak, Pine Tree’s CEO. “He consistently demonstrates leadership, resourcefulness and in-depth knowledge of the real estate market in our on-going efforts to expand our portfolio, while reinforcing Pine Tree’s culture of excellence and commitment to its stakeholders.”
Bossy, 31, received his B.A. in finance from the University of Notre Dame and started his career as an analyst for a reputable investment sales brokerage firm. Since then he worked in acquisitions and asset management for a boutique private equity company specializing in retail and office investments prior to joining Pine Tree. A resident of Clarendon Hills, Illinois, he is an active member of ICSC and ICSC Next Generation.
