Northbrook-based retail real estate company Pine Tree announced the addition of new hire Bernard Siwik as senior vice president of design and construction. Bernard brings to Pine Tree more than 30 years of experience in construction project management and architecture.
With experience in industrial, commercial, office, and retail architecture and construction management, Bernard joins Pine Tree following more than 13 years of running his own Chicago construction management consulting firm. Prior to that, he worked for over five years managing all phases of project development with companies including Joseph Freed and Associates and Regency Centers. A graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, he holds a BS in architecture and is licensed in the State of Illinois.
In his new role, Bernard and his team will help oversee design and construction of new developments, remodels, and retrofits of existing spaces across Pine Tree’s national portfolio of shopping center assets.
