Retail real estate firm Pine Tree, LLC has hired Yuhan “Carrie” Meng as property accountant and Tammy Macdonald as senior property accountant for a portion of its national shopping center portfolio. Meng and Macdonald will be based in Pine Tree’s Northbrook, Illinois headquarters.
Meng comes to Pine Tree after serving as staff accountant for Chen & Fan Accountancy Corporation in San Jose, California, where she conducted annual financial statement audits of public companies in the technology sector. Before that, she was a consultant for the University of Illinois Business Intelligence Group.
A resident of Buffalo Grove, Illinois, Meng is a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where she earned her master of science in accountancy. She earned her bachelor of accounting from Shandong University in Jinan, China.
Macdonald comes to Pine Tree after serving as staff accountant for FirstKey Homes. Prior to that, she was an advanced auditor for the State of Wisconsin Department of Children & Families and a Senior Accountant for Craig Steven Development Corporation.
Residing in Grayslake, Illinois, Macdonald earned her bachelor of arts in business administration and marketing, graduating Cum Laude, from Carthage College. She is an Eagle Scout mentor and a member of the Wisconsin Department of Children & Families Affirmative Action Advisory Committee.
