The Pizzuti Companies on June 21 held a ceremonial ground-breaking on the site where the company will develop The Joseph Nashville, a Luxury Collection hotel in that city’s SoBro neighborhood.

The 21-story hotel will be located on 0.79 acres at the corner of Koren Veterans Boulevard and Fourth Avenue South. It will include 297 guest rooms.

The 21st floor of the hotel will feature a luxury spa, fitness center, pool deck and contemporary bar. Towering more than 200 feet in the air, the entire rooftop will have unobstructed views of the Nashville skyline and Cumberland River.

The eighth floor of the hotel will include more than 18,000 square feet of banquet and meeting space. A terrace that runs along Fourth Avenue South and Korean Veterans Bouevard will cover almost 5,000 square feet, providing guests with an indoor/outdoor experience.

Pizzuti’s Nashville hotel project team includes Arquitectonica; Elness Swenson Graham Architects; ArquitectonicaGEO; and Brasfield & Gorrie. Construction is expected to be complete in the fall of 2020.
