The Pizzuti Companies and its development partner, USAA Real Estate, have announced the first tenant in the CreekSide XVI speculative building in the CreekSide Industrial Center in the Columbus, Ohio, market.
EFL Expo Freight has leased 70,955 square feet in the 155,866-square-foot CreekSide XVI building, one of two speculative facilities nearing completion on Global Court. Both CreekSide XVI and CreekSide XVIII, a 236,140-square-foot building, are designed for single- and multi-tenant uses, and are divisible to meet each user’s specific needs.
The buildings are located on a 22-acre site, and feature direct access from Alum Creek Drive, 32-foot clear heights, LED lighting and a 15-year, 100 percent tax abatement.
Mike Spencer of Lee & Associates represented EFL Expo Freight in the lease transaction; Pizzuti was represented by Phil Rasey, the company’s vice president of development.
Both CreekSide XVIII and XVI are scheduled for completion this fall. Approximately 321,000 square feet of space remains available.
