Pizzuti Companies has finished its renovation of an iconic North High Street building in Columbus, Ohio.

Pizzuti Companies is the owner of the Carlile Building at 445 N. High St., which once a well-known Columbus furniture retailer. Pizzuti completed a full re-working of the lobby, updated mechanical systems, restored the 1890s-era brick and plaster, and added new restrooms on each floor.

JackThreads, an online retailer selling men’s fashion brands, has taken the fifth floor of the Carlile. The retailer occupies about 6,000 square feet of space. Wondersauce, a New York-based digital agency, will move into about 2,000 square feet on the Carlile Building’s fourth floor, taking occupancy this spring.

Martini Modern Italian restaurant is a first-floor anchor tenant.

The Carlile Building was built in the late 1800s as home to Carlile’s Furniture, which closed in the mid-1970s after 97 years.
