The Pizzuti Companies and USAA Real Estate Company have will develop a 652,195-square-foot industrial building on a 40-acre site on Creekside Parkway in the CreekSide Industrial Center in Columbus, Ohio.
Construction will begin this month on the Class-A speculative facility that includes 62 truck docks and trailer and car parking.
“Demand for large-scale industrial space has increased significantly in recent months in the Columbus market,” said Joel S. Pizzuti, president of The Pizzuti Companies, in a written statement. “The time is right to deliver a new speculative facility to meet this need.”
The facility, jointly owned by USAA Real Estate and Pizzuti, is being built by Pizzuti Construction Services with completion expected in the fall of 2014.
When complete, Pizzuti will provide property-management and leasing services for the new building.
