PNC Bank announced a long-term extension of its lease at 411 E. Wisconsin in Milwaukee, reaffirming its commitment to downtown, its workforce and the region’s economic future. The agreement includes plans to expand and enhance PNC’s office footprint. The location will continue to serve as PNC’s regional corporate office, as well as home to its downtown retail branch and ATM.
“For over a decade, our downtown presence has been a cornerstone for clients navigating everything from buying a home to growing a business,” said Chris Hermann, PNC regional president of Wisconsin. “This investment reflects our confidence in Milwaukee’s future and reinforces our commitment to supporting a vibrant downtown, investing in our employees and growing workforce while delivering meaningful experiences for our clients and communities.”
Renovations tied to the expanded space will modernize the workplace environment, creating a more collaborative, flexible space designed to enhance employee experience and better serve clients. The newly expanded office space is expected to be completed in 2027.
“PNC’s decision to deepen its investment at The 411 Building is a strong vote of confidence in downtown Milwaukee’s future,” said Peter Holstein, principal Middleton Partners, the building’s locally based owner. “It reflects the momentum we’re building with a strong roster of tenants that are choosing to grow their business at a location known for its amenities, value, and energy in the heart of the city.”
Home to prominent tenants Quarles & Brady, von Briesen & Roper, the Wisconsin Athletic Club and newly added Gruber Law Offices, 411 E. Wisconsin continues to strengthen its position as one of downtown Milwaukee’s premier business destinations.
