Podolsky | Circle CORFAC International installs EV Charging at Naperville office building to support tenants with cutting edge services

To support a number of tenants at 1755 Park Street in Naperville, a building managed by Podolsky|Circle, two Electric Vehicle (EV) Chargers were recently purchased and installed. EV Charging at the building now is available to these tenants, and others, at no additional cost.

According to Randy D. Podolsky, SIOR and Managing Principal, Podolsky|Circle, “As a firm we are always trying to stay on the cutting edge. When we see a trend that is fundamentally sound and makes good sense, we try to embrace it.”

1755 Park Street is a three-story, 38,000-square-foot building that was acquired by a private investment group in 2013. The building is located south of I-88 off of Diehl Road in Naperville.

Podolsky added that the Podolsky|Circle firm believes it is important to make resources available to those who are trying to promote social and environmental responsibility.

Increasingly, consumers are making the commitment to move away from gasoline powered vehicles to those that use electronic power.

For some the motivation to go electric is a strategic decision to avoid dependence on oil and the cost associated with paying anywhere from $3.00 to $3.50 per gallon of gas at the pump. Others make the decision because of a desire to be more environmentally friendly and to leave a smaller “footprint” on the planet.

But because of the relative newness of EV Charging, embracing the concept can be challenging as commercial real estate owners and parking facility owners and operators may not offer EV Charging at their facilities.
