Daniel North has joined the Chicago office of law firm Polsinelli as a shareholder in the Real Estate Practice.
His arrival follows the addition of Shareholder Kristopher J. Stark in Chicago earlier this year and reflects the firm’s continued expansion in the city and momentum in expanding its real estate platform from coast to coast.
North is also the fourteenth real estate shareholder to join Polsinelli over the last year, most recently with the additions of David S. Rubenstein in Seattle, an eight-lawyer team in New York led by Robert Koonin, and Brian A. Bolton in Dallas.
North brings nearly a decade of experience representing developers, investors and tenants in real estate transactions across the country. He oversees transactions involving large-scale, multi-use developments of industrial properties, hotels, apartments, offices and retail, advising clients throughout the process on financing, corporate organization and construction contracts.
In addition, North’s experience also includes negotiating leasing agreements, resolving mechanics’ lien and bond claim matters and navigating foreclosures and loan restructurings.
