PREMIER Design + Build Group completed the new headquarters for Heathrow Scientific, a global provider in laboratory supplies and instruments. The 113,000-square-foot facility in Vernon Hills, Illinois, serves as the central hub for the company’s manufacturing, laboratory and office operations.
Following the demolition of an existing structure, PREMIER constructed the two-story, mixed-use building that features a large laboratory space dedicated to product design and quality control, and an outdoor dining area. The exterior of the building showcases a modern design with wood veneer and glass finishes, complemented by a distinctive canopy entrance. The facility also includes 12 dock positions and two drive-in doors for logistics needs.
Heathrow Scientific has seen significant growth since its founding in 1996. Beginning with just two products to a portfolio of over 900, the company’s new headquarters reflects this growth, offering a cutting-edge environment that supports their continued innovation.
