PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC held a groundbreaking ceremony September 23, 2014 with Bridge Development Partners, LLC for Bridge Point McCook II, a new 226,196 square foot speculative industrial facility. Among the attendees were McCook’s Mayor Jeffrey Tobolski, Trustee John Bubash Jr., Trustee Robert Mandekich, Title Charles Sobus, Police Chief Mario Depasquale, Deputy Police Chief Philip Pilch, Fire Chief Joseph Myrick and Building Inspector Terry Hickey. Also in attendance were representatives from The PrivateBank, Associated Bank, Colliers International, Cornerstone Architects and Manhard Consulting.
With the recent completion of an industrial build-to-suit project in McCook early in 2014, Bridge Point McCook II marks the second recent construction site in the area for PREMIER. The speculative facility will be adaptable to a number of different end users including distributors, freight forwarders and manufacturers. Situated on a 13-acre parcel, the new facility is located near I-55 and I-294 in Cook County, Illinois and is designed to house up to four tenants.
“It was a great day to be among the people who are making this development a reality,” states PREMIER President Alan Zocher. “The cooperative effort of all parties involved, including the Village of McCook, has gotten this project off the ground quickly and without issue.”
Anticipated completion of the project is 1st quarter of 2015.
Jeremy Jelonek with PREMIER is the project manager and Scott Lebak is field superintendent. Cornerstone Architects are delivering architectural services. Manhard Consulting, Ltd. is the civil engineer. The project is being financed by The PrivateBank and Associated Bank, and Vern Schultz and Tom Condon of Colliers International are the brokers for the facility.
