PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC has promoted Ron Nelsen from director to senior vice president of field operations.
He has more than 20 years of experience and 100 projects to his credit, and was one of the first two employees hired when the company opened its doors in 2004. Nelson has been responsible for the successful completion of more than 100 million square feet of industrial and commercial real estate.
Highlights of his career include leading the charge on a diverse range of build-to-suit and speculative projects including: The Mayfair Collection—a 255,000 sq ft adaptive re-use retail space just outside of Milwaukee; a 169,800 sq ft LEED Gold commercial office building in Lincolnshire, IL; the award-winning historic renovation of Hyde Park’s Harper Theater in Chicago; an adaptive re-use project for the University of Chicago’s all new Chicago Innovation Exchange; numerous medical office projects at the Silver Cross Medical Campus in New Lenox, IL; and countless expansive industrial spaces across the country.
