PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC shows support for Saving Tiny Hearts Society plus other philanthropic efforts

PREMIER Design + Build, LLC believes in bettering the health and well-being of people. In particular, the firm said they believe in helping children and that’s why they helped sponsor the 10th Annual Gala for the Saving Tiny Hearts Society in September.

This charity focuses on improving, saving and prolonging the lives of those born with Congenital Heart Defects (CHD), the #1 birth defect in the world. According to the Society, 1 million babies are born with CHD every year. PREMIER gladly donates time and resources to Saving tiny Hearts, their charity of choice.

And there are many other charities they have recently supported, too:

The Charles Tillman Cornerstone Foundation. This organization, founded by the famous former Chicago Bear, has a mission to enrich the lives of chronically and critically ill children and their families.

Open Heart Magic. This group meets with sick kids right at their hospital bedsides. Open Heart Magic provides entertaining therapy to lift the spirits of children through the surprise, excitement and wonder of magic.

Broader Urban Involvement & Leadership Development (BUILD). This organization engages at-risk youth in Chicago so that they can realize their educational and career potential. BUILD meets with these young people at school and on the streets.

Center for Independence. The experts at this non-profit group help children who have conditions such as cerebral palsy and spina bifida to develop their motor skills. The emphasis is on creating positive self-esteem and self-direction.

PREMIER also recently presented a check for to The Prostate Cancer Foundation at the Bridge Point North groundbreaking Sept. 1. The firm spread the word about the foundation’s free prostate screening on Sept. 11 in Westmont, Illinois, and at its 5K run and 3k walk on Sept. 13.

Last October, PREMIER supported the Lynn Sage Cancer Research Foundation for breast cancer awareness. During the holidays, they also held an employee-run food drive for the Northern Illinois Food Bank. PREMIER supplied one dollar for every pound of food donated during that drive—with a total of $500 and 500 lbs of food. This year, they donated to Tuesday’s Child as part of the Children’s Medical Group groundbreaking ceremony. Tuesday’s Child helps families address behavioral issues.

“We will continue to be a vital part of communities across Chicago and the entire Midwest,” Brian Paul, executive vice president of PREMIER Design + Build, LLC, said. “While our primary focus is on building premium industrial, commercial, medical and adaptive re-use facilities, our greatest accomplishments are those that help others lead better lives.”
