Children’s Medical Properties, LLC has chosen PREMIER Design + Build, LLC to direct the construction of a state-of-the-art pediatric medical office building. Children’s Medical Group will occupy this 5,118-square-foot facility and will focus on the health and well-being of children in McHenry County, Illinois, and surrounding areas. The project is slated for completion in January 2016.
The pediatric medical office will feature 10 patient exam rooms, two family exam rooms, two treatment rooms, an onsite lab and doctor’s and nurse’s stations. Patients and their families will benefit from separate ill and well waiting and play areas as well as a dedicated breast-feeding room.
The facility will feature full amenities for its staff including a break room and locker area. An office for up to 5 doctors will be built as well as an office for the office manager. The building will also be equipped with storage areas, an IT closet and mechanical areas.
Building exterior highlights include stone accents, a sloped roof and pre-engineered roof trusses, a brick facade and an aluminum-clad glass entryway. Walkways and a 67-space parking lot will make the office easily accessible. A storm water system and pollution protection plan will be put in place. The building will feature the latest in sprinkler system, electrical, HVAC and plumbing technology.
Samantha Skopek of PREMIER Design + Build Group, LLC is the project manager overseeing construction and Wayne Nyenhuis is the field superintendent. Mace is representing the owner. Structurelogic Inc. will provide structural services while Haeger Engineering will provide civil engineering services. Steven Rankin Associates will provide architectural services.
