Susan Silver, president of Chicago’s Millennium Properties, was awarded the Small Transaction of the Year award by the Turnaround Management Association.
Silver was part of a team for the Adjustable Clamp Company liquidation that included High Ridge Partners LLC, Goldstein & McClintock, American Chartered Bank and Mowery & Schoenfeld LLC.
Silver worked on the marketing and sale of three properties in the Kinzie Corridor. The portfolio consisted of two separate land sites, both of which were used as parking lots, and a vacant 7,408-square-foot light industrial building. After an initial buyer was identified, a public auction for qualified buyers was held in May. The portfolio was sold for a total of $2.248 million.
Silver has completed more than 750 real estate transactions totaling more than $1 billion during her tenure at Millennium Properties.
