President of Farbman Group named to Michigan Board of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons

Andy Gutman, president at Southfield, Michigan-based full-service commercial real estate company Farbman Group, was recently appointed to the Michigan Board of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons. Michigan Gov. Gretchen Witmer made the announcement.

“Over the course of his career, Andy has become well known as an innovative and effective leader in the commercial real estate industry,” said Farbman Group CEO Andrew V. Farbman. “As a respected and driven real estate professional, entrepreneur and leader, Andy constantly inspires those around him, making him a valuable asset to any team. The Michigan Board of Real Estate Brokers and Salespersons was created to license and regulate the practice of real estate brokers and salespersons in Michigan. The Board works with the Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs to oversee the practice of real estate salespersons, associate real estate brokers, real estate brokers and branch offices.  

Gutman was appointed to the Board by Governor Witmer with the advice and consent of the Senate. Gutman will represent real estate brokers and salespersons for a term commencing July 1, 2021 and expiring June 30, 2025.
