Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback has appointed Steven Martens, president of Wichita-based The Martens Companies, to serve on the Kansas Governor’s Council of Economic Advisors.
Martens has been involved in the commercial real estate industry in Kansas for more than 40 years.
“I’m excited to serve the citizens of Kansas,” Martens said in a statement. “This is a great opportunity, and I look forward to working with the governor, his cabinet and other council members in continuing to develop a vibrant business environment and economy in our state.”
