The Chicago Chapter of The Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) announced that Dan Smolensky, SIOR, has been elected SIOR Global vice president and will assume the role this fall.
Smolensky, an industrial real estate and supply chain specialist, is principal and founder of TMG Real Estate Advisors.
Smolensky earned his SIOR designation in 2012 and has held several leadership roles in the organization on the local, regional and global level since that time. He is a past president of the Chicago chapter, served as regional director of the Great Lakes region, and is currently serving on the global board of directors. Smolensky has also given his time to several SIOR committees including the Young Brokers Group and Independent Brokers Group.
After serving a one-year term as vice president, Smolensky will serve as president-elect for one year, and then step into the global presidency in fall of 2027.
“Earning my SIOR Global designation felt like reaching the pinnacle, but it turned out to be a launchpad to new heights of success, continuous learning, and the privilege of collaborating and working with the best people I’ve ever known,” said Smolensky. “I’m honored to be able to continue this incredible journey, and it is my hope that many more of our best and brightest commercial real estate advisors realize the value of the SIOR designation and join our organization.”
