Principle Construction Corp. completed another renovation for the Richard Wolf Medical Instruments facility at 353 Corporate Woods Parkway in Vernon Hills, Illinois. a manufacturer of medical instruments for surgical procedures, Richard Wolf Medical Instruments selected Principle Construction for this project due to their technical and accurate completion of numerous past projects within their property.
The renovation of the optical assembly lab within the facility included the demolition of existing interior walls to open the room and allow for more equipment and workstations. The Principle team then reconfigured the ceiling so that they appear as one continuous grid to disguise the fact that any renovation took place.
Additionally, the room’s plumbing was modified to accommodate new equipment wash basins and hand sinks. Then the team replaced the doors with two new glass doors designed to afford visitors a view into the highly complex optics assembly lab.
The project architect was Timothy Morgan and Associates. Principle’s Mark Augustyn was the principal on the project while Rick Grabowski served as senior project manager, assisted by Jon Anderson; Mark Frane was the superintendent.
