Principle Construction Corp. recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the new 275,422-square-foot warehouse and distribution center for packaging giant Victory Packaging at 1405 Sequoia Drive in Aurora, Illinois.
Representatives from developer Seefried Industrial Properties and brokers Avison Young and Colliers International also took part in the festivities.
The facility will be constructed from the ground up on a 20.5-arce site. The project will include an 11,043-square-foot office area, 99 stall employee parking lot, 20 trailer storage lot, 22 dock positions and three drive in doors.
Mike Long will provide executive leadership while, Darrin Dehmlow will serve as Project Manager and Tom Sterbenz will serve as Superintendent for Principle Construction Corp. Pross Design Group, Inc. is the project architect.
This is the second project together this year for Seefried and Principle. Earlier this year they successfully developed an industrial spec building in Bolingbrook, Illinois. The planned completion date for the Aurora project is in 2016.
