Project Management Advisors, Inc. (PMA) has announced that Matthew Silvers has joined the firm as vice president.

A 20-year veteran of the real estate industry, Silvers draws on previous experience as an environmental and transactional attorney as well as a real estate entrepreneur to deliver uncommon guidance and counsel to his clients. As part of the PMA team, he will focus on helping to scale the firm’s Austin office, focusing on vertical and horizontal mixed-use projects, healthcare and life science-related opportunities and other ground-up commercial real estate developments. Silvers will also lend his insights to the firm’s 120+ project management professionals nationwide.

“Our business is built on identifying unique perspectives, bringing new solutions to our clients and always letting the best idea win,” said Ross Anders, vice president and general manager of PMA’s Austin office. “With Matt, we gain additional insight into the development process from the owner and investors’ perspective, along with his considerable business acumen and an inherently forward-looking, entrepreneurial approach.”

Silvers is the founder and managing principal of Ag3 Advisory Services, a nationally focused real estate advisory firm, focused on creating enterprise value and executing strategic roll-out initiatives. He previously served as chief development officer and senior vice president of real estate and brand development for Flix Entertainment, where he led the nationwide expansion of Flix Brewhouse, the first to combine cinema, restaurant and microbrewery into one entertainment concept. He also functioned as managing principal of Next Realty Midwest, a real estate brokerage, consulting and investment firm that focuses primarily on larger, ground-up retail and mixed-use development projects.

“My real estate career has centered on bringing people, ideas and the built environment together to realize new opportunities, and joining PMA presents new avenues to continue to pursue that work,” Silvers said. “We are at an unprecedented time as people the world over reexamine the spaces in which they live, work and unwind. That is even more evident in Austin with its nation-leading rate of growth and expansion. As the city continues to draw business and new residents, PMA is positioned to offer local insights and the supporting scale of a truly national firm.”
