Project REAP (Real Estate Associate Program), the industry’s leading nationwide effort to bridge the gap between talented professionals of color and the world of commercial real estate, returns this spring to Chicago. Classes follow successful 2017 programs in New York City, Atlanta, Los Angeles, and Kansas City.
Applicants must have a four-year degree from an accredited institution and one to five years of professional work experience. Classes are taught by senior level CRE industry experts Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:00-9:00pm. The program covers varied topics in CRE and multiple property types. Real estate experience is not needed.
“We’re looking for self-starters from a wide spectrum of disciplines with a zeal to learn and a will to succeed. Some may decide to switch to CRE, others will find ways for the increased knowledge to bolster their career path,” said REAP associate program director Osayamen Bartholomew.
Since its founding in 1997, Project REAP has graduated over 1,000 students from many of the nation’s leading urban centers. Classes begin mid-March and applications close Friday, February 9, 2018 at 4pm CST. For more information, contact REAP Chicago planning committee members Angela Brooks or Jimena Sayavedra.
