Commercial and residential title insurance firm Proper Title, LLC has been awarded the “Excellence in Action” award by Fidelity National Title Group, Inc. This is the fourth year in a row that the Palatine, Illinois-based company has received the award, which is given to title insurance agencies that exemplify outstanding performance in best practices, customer service and operations, among other criteria.
“It is an honor to be recognized by the Fidelity National Title Group again for meeting some of the highest standards in the title insurance industry,” said David Garside, executive vice president of title and escrow operations at Proper Title. “This award is based on the very same criteria we believe has contributed to such high levels of satisfaction among our customers, which has, in turn, fueled our growth.”
Since its inception in 2013, Proper Title has increased its transaction volume year over year and has become Fidelity’s second largest title agent in Illinois. The firm’s commercial business has expanded significantly in the past year with a 40 percent growth in transactions in 2017 and several key new hires. Earlier this year, Proper Title opened an office in Chicago’s Bucktown neighborhood to accommodate its continued growth. The company’s number of employees has doubled since it was launched five years ago.
