@properties Commercial recently brokered the sale of a half-acre development site at 1571 Maple Avenue in downtown Evanston, Illinois.
@properties commercial vice presidents Mike Rourke and Dan Stratis represented the seller, a family trust. Chicago-based Centrum Partners LLC and Condor Partners LLC purchased the property with plans to build a 12-story, 101-unit apartment building. The property will also include 3,696 square feet of street-level commercial space and 12 on-site parking spaces. Additional parking for the development will be located in the Maple Avenue public garage.
Located near the corner of Maple Avenue and Davis Street, the property is within walking distance of numerous shops and restaurants, Metra and CTA stations on Davis Street and the Century 12 movie theater. Stratis said it will be Evanston’s first Transit Oriented Development apartment building.
