Provision Living, a St. Louis-based senior housing owner and operator, released plans to develop a $40 million upscale independent-living, assisted-living and memory-care community adjacent to St. Isadore Church on 23 Mile Road in Macomb Township, Michigan.
The property has a special-use permit for senior living and, based on township zoning regulations, can be developed for as many as 217 senior housing units.
The planned 200,000-square-foot community will offer about 75-assisted living, 30 memory-care and 100 independent-living units. The community will feature a variety of unit options, including studio, one-bedroom and two-bedroom units.
Plans call for amenities such as a beauty salon, exercise room, therapy space, movie theater, large common spaces and dining room. The community’s exterior design would be tailored to blend with the architecture in the area and will feature landscaped courtyards, patios and walkways.
The community could be under development before the end of the year. Upon completion, Provision Living hopes to create about 100 employment opportunities for healthcare professionals, administration and management, and kitchen and other staff needed to maintain operations.
