Real estate professionals tee-up to benefit Lake County no-kill animal shelter

Organizers of Real Estate to the Rescue, an event to benefit Save-A-Pet, have announced that while all foursome positions have been sold out for this inaugural event, tickets remain available for the September 13, post-golf segment of the event, a cocktail reception and dinner.

Save-A-Pet is one of the largest no kill shelter for dogs and cats in Lake County. It boasts the top rating on Charity Navigator and has rescued over 60,000 animals since its inception in 1972.

Real Estate to the Rescue is taking place at The Glen Club, a public golf course and event facility in Glenview, Illinois. The Golf outing begins at noon (registration at 11 am). The reception and dinner—with an opportunity to meet and greet adoptable pets—follows at 5:00 pm. Tickets are available for the dinner for $75 per person here.

“So many people in commercial real estate like to golf and enjoy the camaraderie of peers in the industry,” said Alissa Adler, managing principal of Podolsky|Circle CORFAC International, and a founder of the event. “This event takes that a step further to support Save-A-Pet, a true no-kill shelter. It promises to be a great time with a great purpose.”

In addition to Adler, the organizing committee for Real Estate to the Rescue includes Rebekah Carlson, Next Realty; Andrew Fredricks, Avison Young; Frank Biondo, Real Estate Publishing Group; Rene Ristau, Syndicated Equities; Nancy Roach, Strada Real Estate Services; Rick Rischall, First Midwest Bank; and David Diaz, Save-A-Pet.
