Reed Construction adds five team members to its Chicago office

Reed Construction has announced the recent additions of five members to its team—George Karkowski, Nick Berchicci, Michael Zeeck, Tom Boehm and Daniel Dominik have all joined the firm’s headquarters in Chicago.

Karkowski will be working with Reed’s healthcare division as an assistant project manager, where he will aid in bidding, budgeting, subcontractor selection and generating project schedules. He holds a degree in construction management from Northern Michigan University.

Berchicci is the new project engineer and will also be working with the firm’s healthcare division. His responsibilities include management of project invoices, completing monthly cost forecasts and assisting with the management of the construction process. A recent graduate of Western Illinois University, he gained previous construction experience from internships with McHenry County Division of Transportation and Peak Construction Corporation.

Zeeck also joins as project engineer, working with Reed’s interiors division. He is a graduate of The Milwaukee School of Engineering, with a double degree in construction management and structural engineering.

Boehm is Reed’s newest project superintendent. His responsibilities include oversight of all job site activities including management of subcontractors, quality control, job site safety and coordinating inspections.

Dominik joins Reedas a carpenter foreman. He holds a number of professional and safety certifications, including OSHA, CPR/AED, Hazcom and crane signaling.  Dominik was previously employed with International Decorators, Inc. and specializes in corporate interiors.
