Reed Construction adds three new hires to its interiors division

Reed Construction has announced that Brenton Hermann, Tom Walsh and Michael Whited have joined Reed’s headquarters in Chicago.

Hermann will be working with Reed’s Interiors Division as a project engineer, where he will be responsible for managing project invoices, completing monthly cost forecasts and assisting with management of the construction process. He joins Reed Construction from Harbour Contractors in Plainfield, Illinois.  Hermann is a graduate of the University of Illinois with a degree in architecture, and also holds a master’s in occupational safety and health from the Illinois Institute of Technology.

Walsh will also be working with the firm’s Interiors Division as a project intern, where he will assist with composing bids and general project management duties. He is a recent graduate of Arizona State University with a degree in communications. He also has background work experience as a carpenter and laborer.

As a project superintendent, Whited’s responsibilities will include oversight of subcontractors, quality control, job site safety and coordinating routine inspections. He holds an associate degree in construction and was previously a general superintendent with LCW Construction.
