Reed Construction has been selected to complete the construction of a new simulation lab for Rush University Medical Center at 1717 W. Congress Parkway in Chicago.
The project for Rush University Medical Center, which is scheduled for completion in August, features the renovation of the existing space to create a new, cutting edge simulation lab. Simulation labs are sophisticated learning environments designed to bridge theory and practice in a safe, interactive educational setting. The 8,200 square foot build-out will include the addition of multiple labs, control rooms, debriefing rooms and the associated infrastructure.
Reed Construction’s Executive Vice President and Project Executive Scott Pickands will lead the construction team including Senior Project Manager Richard Melone and Project Manager Nick Theisinger. Proteus Group is providing the architectural services.
